I find this to be a very relevant quote for my friendships back at home. I have a few friends that I still remain very close to, but we only talk occasionally throughout the school year. When we are at home though, it truly feels like time hasn't passed.
My best friend from high school comes to mind when I read this quote. We have been separated for almost 4 years, and we only see each other about once a year. I miss him a lot, but every time we talk on the phone or visit each other it feels like nothing has changed, we're still best friends. I hope we will always be so close!
